Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning - for cooling and heating - is provided entirely by air-conditioning units which can be found in the lounge, dining room and all bedrooms (5 in total). It is important to note that air conditioning is included in the price of your holiday rental. Most other villa rentals make an extra charge for per air -con unit.
Home entertainment - the following are provided for guest enjoyment whilst at The Olive House: board games, books, CD player, DVD library, DVD player, playing cards, stereo, TV, video library, video.
Telephone - a mobile phone is provided for guest use. Smoking - outdoors only. Pets - not allowed.
Outside
The Olive House is in a wonderful location with the village, beach, sea, town and countryside all very close by. In a quiet setting with beautiful garden blooming with local flora, fragrant herbs, olive and fruit trees. Outdoors there's everything you need to enjoy relaxation Cypriot style including a private pool (8m x 4m), terrace chairs (x 6) and tables (x 2), sunbeds (x 6) BBQ and bar and 4 teraces where you can take in the magnificent view! Neo Chorio is a rustic village of stone cottages and whitewashed houses. It has maintained its rustic charm with local traditions and customs still in evidence but you will also find 2 tavernas, 2 coffee shops and a small food store!
Polis is a bustling town with a lovely square and mix of bars, restaurants, history and culture. The Akamas National Park is right on the door step. It's a tranquil area of natural beauty, an enchanting place to explore the flora and fauna and a paradise for the more active holidaymaker to enjoy outdoor pursuits!
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach and marina are at Latchi, the warm clear waters are ideal for swimming and enjoying a variety of watersports. Why not hire a motorboat around the bay - take snorkels and a picnic for a truly wonderful day out! Or simply relax in a taverna around the pretty harbour, a great spot for a fresh fish meze and to watch the fishermen unload their catch.
There are also a number of other beaches closeby and some excellent beaches off road.
